The Program
Australia Awards Cambodia (AAC) is a multi-year program (2026 to 2034) managed by Tetra Tech International Development on behalf of the Australian Government, represented by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

AAC’s goal is to support Cambodia to achieve its development goals through education and knowledge transfer, and to build enduring relationships with Australia that advance mutual interests.

AAC supports two End-of-Program Outcomes:

  • Alumni apply their skills, knowledge, and networks to contribute to sustainable development and national development priorities in Cambodia.
  • Alumni foster enduring, mutually beneficial relationships between Australia and Cambodia through professional collaboration, institutional partnerships, and shared development goals.

AAC delivers:

  • Australia Awards Scholarships
  • Australia Awards Short Courses
  • Australia Awards Enabling Activities, including Equity Pathways, On-Award Enrichment, Alumni Engagement, and other targeted initiatives

Strengthening GEDSI, localisation, and climate change considerations are cross-cutting priorities of the program.

The position will work under the direction of the Enrichment and Reintegration Adviser and the Alumni and Reintegration Manager to ensure activities are delivered effectively, professionally, and in line with AAC and DFAT requirements. The role will also support accurate data collection, recordkeeping, and continuous improvement across scholar and alumni activities.

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, databases, and participant information in an audit-ready manner.
  • Administer post-activity surveys, collect results, and support validated MERL data collection and reporting.
  • Assist with reporting, budgeting, invoice processing, reimbursements, newsletters, and general administrative support.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in international development, education, communication, administration, or another relevant field.
  • At least 2–4 years’ experience providing administrative or operational support in education, capacity building, or complex program delivery contexts.
  • Experience coordinating logistics for activities, events, workshops, or similar engagements.

  • Strong knowledge of program administration, recordkeeping, and data governance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage correspondence and stakeholder communications professionally.
