Regulatory & Legal Specialist/Expert - Ukraine
Minimum qualifications:
- A master’s degree or equivalent in economics, energy, engineering, finance, legal, and/or other related fields.
- Experience with working in an international environment, within two of the areas mentioned in 1) through to 7) above, particularly in terms of having worked, or supported USAID-, or the other donor- funded energy projects, or legal offices and companies in Ukraine, or internationally.
- Experience in supporting the electricity and gas sector regulators, ministries, or the relevant energy institutions and operators (companies) in pursuing their tasks and duties over a cumulated period of two years.
- Working experience with the conceptual development and drafting of the legislation and commencing sectoral reforming frameworks.
- Knowledge of the EU legislation mentioned above, and its key requirements will constitute.
- Excellent English and Ukrainian oral and writing skills.
- Proficient in office computer applications (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Physical demands & work environment:
- Possible occasional business travels.
