The Opportunity:
Tetra Tech is hiring a recruiter!
We’re looking for someone with solid recruiting experience who can confidently own hiring activity in a fast-paced environment while continuing to grow their sourcing, strategy, and partnership skills. This role is ideal for someone who already understands the fundamentals of recruiting, can independently manage a workload, and is ready to elevate their craft.
You’ll support high-volume hiring efforts across technical and engineering teams while partnering closely with senior recruiters on sourcing strategy, hard-to-fill searches, talent pipeline development, and creative recruiting initiatives.
We want someone who is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable navigating recruiting technology, applicant tracking systems, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and social sourcing channels. Someone who knows how to keep momentum moving while also thinking beyond the traditional recruiting playbook.

Essential Functions:
Manage a high volume of open requisitions across engineering, technical, and professional services teams while maintaining strong organization and responsiveness
Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR teams to support recruiting strategies and hiring goals
Source active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social platforms, Boolean searches, networking, and creative sourcing techniques
Support senior recruiters on targeted sourcing initiatives and difficult-to-fill technical roles
Write engaging outreach messages and job advertisements that attract talent in competitive markets
Maintain accurate candidate records, workflows, and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system
Screen candidates and coordinate interviews while ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience
Assist with recruitment marketing, social recruiting efforts, and employer branding initiatives
Track recruiting activity and sourcing effectiveness to support data-driven decision making
Stay current on recruiting trends, sourcing tools, AI technology, and talent market insights
Support university recruiting and early-career talent initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent recruiting experience.
2–5 years of recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, or staffing experience.
Experience managing multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable working within Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting technologies.
Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social sourcing, and internet search techniques.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to create engaging outreach messaging.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and willingness to expand recruiting and sourcing capabilities.
Ability to balance recruiting operations with creative sourcing support.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Oracle Taleo
Experience working in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work remotely from a home office or other suitable work environment.
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods while conducting recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, and administrative activities.
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video conferencing, email, and other digital collaboration tools.
Work Environment:
This position is fully remote.
Minimal travel may be required industry events or team gatherings.
