Public Outreach Specialist – Denver, CO
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, public affairs, public relations, community relations, or journalism preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline may be considered with applicable experience
- 3-7 years of demonstrated work experience performing similar tasks
- Competency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud desired
- Competency with Associated Press (AP) Style conventions
- Understanding of the development and construction of energy infrastructure projects is a plus
- Demonstrated writing abilities and organizational skills
- Understanding of Public Relations concepts and how to craft and implement project-specific public communications approaches that include both traditional media and digital media tactics
- Possess the ability to act independently with task management roles, have a strong attention to detail, and a proven commitment to quality management, continuous improvement and client satisfaction
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, coordinate effectively with others, and work independently and as part of a team
- Ability and interest in working as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environment with the capability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Willingness and ability to travel is required
- Spanish speaking is a plus
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
Salary Range: $45,000 - $80,000
