Tetra Tech is currently seeking a full-time, Project Support Assistant to work out of their home near Gainesville, FL. (Required to live commuting distance by car to Gainesville, FL.)
The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting project managers to set up and close out projects for our United States Postal Services (USPS) program. The position
• Conduct conflict of interest screenings for each project request.
• Prepare bid and proposal checks within the database for each project request and monitor progress through system.
• Set up all documentation templates (proposals/reports/quality control review sheets) for each project.
• Complete the check at the conclusion of each project to ensure all documentation is present, remove all extraneous files and close them out.
• Update the USPS program database with each new project and monitor them through the process to ensure it is constantly updated.
• Support the USPS financial manager with requests.
• Support the USPS procurement team with requests.
• Provide support for report preparation/formatting/submittal.
• Assist the project managers and financial managers to track invoicing and payments through the client’s web-based purchasing/invoicing system.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6years relevant experience. You will also have / be:
• Prior work experience with federal government programs preferred.
• Requires excellent organization skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at different phases of the work.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and proficient in Word and Adobe Acrobat Editor.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Capability to work in a team environment, but individually when necessary.
In addition, the following is required:
• Obtain security clearance through the federal government within the USPS branch
Degree / Certifications
• Bachelor’s of Science (BS) degree preferred; Bachelor’s of Art (BA) degree may be considered.
Work Environment
• This is a fully remote position, however it is required that you live within commuting distance to Gainesville, Florida in order to visit our client when needed.
