Project Manager Biologist/ Chemist

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or scientific field required.
• At least five years of related experience is required.
• Experience providing strong technical support for environmental projects as described above.
• Knowledge of comprehensive environmental federal, state, and local regulations also required.
• Excellent communication, client interaction, and organizational skills, as well as proficiency with MS Office applications are required.
• A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions. 

Desired skills in the ideal candidate include but are not limited to:

• Leading the regulatory and permitting processes, ensuring compliance with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and/or the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
• Supporting project managers by providing expertise in environmental analyses, particularly in collaboration with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
• Preparing and processing a variety of permit applications at county, state, and federal levels, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
• Conducting environmental studies and resource analyses to inform project development and permitting strategies.
• Consulting with relevant governmental bodies and agencies to facilitate regulatory approvals and maintain open lines of communication throughout the permitting process.
• Self-starter with strong organizational management, communication, and technical writing abilities.
• Analytical skills related to qualitative and quantitative data.
• Information and data analysis.
• Multi-tasking and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
