Project Engineer - Roadway Design
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of roadway design experience on FDOT projects.
- 4 plus years of experience are preferred.
- Current EIT certification will be required for this position.
- Florida PE license preferred or ability to obtain in 6 months
- 4 plus years of experience with FDOT FDM, Standard Plans, Specifications & Florida Greenbook criteria preferred.
- 4 plus years of experience with OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and FDOT Connect workspace preferred.
- Familiarity with FDOT’s Workstation Ribbon tools, including the Signs Application.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
- Ability to travel for project coordination or site visits.
