Project Controls Specialist
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 year’s experience
A minimum of 5 years of related experience in a planning, scheduling and cost control role for government or commercial contracts
PMP designation is preferred
Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams including Engineers, Discipline Managers, Team Leaders, and Project Services
Additional experience in developing construction schedule, project reporting, cost control, procurement, contract administration, and construction management support is considered an asset
Proficient with project planning and scheduling tools especially Primavera P6 and COBRA
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills to develop solutions to complex issues
Problem solving capability in the absence of procedures and guidelines
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrates initiative and the ability to prioritize work, recognizing the need for doing thorough and complete work, but at the same time addressing the demanding schedule requirements
