Tetra Tech currently has an opening for a Department of Defense Air Force Infrastructure Program Manager/Senior Project Manager in our Orlando, FL location  to provide business development, marketing, and task order capture plan execution. This position will have direct client interface and requires strategic planning, relationship development, opportunity assessment, and technical response development to grow an already successful Air Force relationship and infrastructure design portfolio. The selected candidate will experience a unique opportunity to be involved with global projects, while working with a team of in-house experts in all facilities and infrastructure engineering disciplines. The position will require a leader that can operate effectively in a dynamic work environment with the following duties: 

  • Work with the business development team to define and execute long term strategic growth plans;
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities consistent with the Tetra Tech Air Force growth plan;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with AFCEC leadership and project management staff;
  • Obtain a leadership role in the local SAME chapter and participate in local and regional SAME events;
  • Mentor and supervise technical staff; 
  • Act as Task Order Manager and Project Manager on architecture and engineering (A-E) or construction management projects where needed;
  • Manage multi-discipline project execution teams; 
  • Ensure a high level of satisfaction with our clients related to our A-E and construction management services. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering;
  • Professional Engineering (PE) registration or Registered Architect is required;
  • Twenty or more years of experience is required;
  • Demonstrated success in Air Force infrastructure design program level business development is strongly preferred;
  • Excellent team building, interpersonal, and written communication skills;
  •  Ability and willingness to travel;
  • An in depth knowledge and understanding of AFCEC and their processes.

Current security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance is preferred.
