  • Manages and has a proven record of building and diversifying business with commercial customers, while managing the delivery of quality products, growth, and financial results;

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Think Big.  Develop and implement growth strategies to increase profitability for a broad range of integrated services including planning, site investigation, risk assessment, remediation, construction, and construction management services for commercial market sector clients.
  • Prioritize.  Lead the identification and prioritization of pursuits and secure projects in the Atlanta and Southeast United States.
  • Innovate.  Develop strategic joint venture partnerships for major commercial projects and leverage client relationships to identify prospective partnerships.
  • Use Your Insight.  Assess market conditions and trends, and apply this knowledge to anticipate the scope and timing of major market movements and prospective pursuits.  Closely monitor industry activities within the commercial market sector and contribute information and knowledge to the company's leadership team to anticipate and respond to industry trends.
  • Take the Reigns. Accept personal accountability for achieving growth targets within the commercial sector and take corrective action when necessary to achieve these goals.
  • Execute.  Assemble and lead teams to prepare cost proposals and to effectively and efficiently complete projects on time and within budget and regulatory guidelines.
  • Keep an Eye on the Pulse of Our Unit.  Maintain a high level of direct participation in preparing proposals, managing individual projects, and performing technical work as necessary to maintain an acceptable balance of sales and utilization (utilization target will be dependent on sales volume).

Requirements & Preferred Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting services with at least ten years of experience in program/project management, business development, and strategic planning focused on the commercial market sector.

Education Requirements:

  • BS degree in engineering, science or a related technical field is required. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Professional registration, i.e. Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) is preferred. PMP Certification a plus.

 Location:

  • Candidate will be located in Atlanta, GA while supporting the business unit headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA
