BridgeNet International is looking for an Aviation Noise Program Analyst . The position can be worked 100% remote.
The FAA receives numerous noise complaints/inquiries each month that must be addressed in some way. To better process the complaints it receives, and to bring consistency to responses, the FAA improved its process for addressing noise complaints/inquires through the use of the Noise Complaint Initiative and Noise Portal. The portal provides the public a single place to submit noise complaints to the FAA. The FAA must then address those complaints that are entered into the system.
This position will provide contractual support to specific FAA regions to support community engagement activities including the Noise Complaint Initiative (NCI). They will support the processing of noise complaints/inquires submitted via the Noise Portal. The person will also help develop processes and reports in support of the NCI and other elements of community involvement as needed.
Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Address Noise Complaints assigned to the region or in support of additional regions. This includes writing responses, using template language and working across FAA Lines of Business and Staff Offices to gain information needed for a response. This also includes returning voicemails regarding noise concerns, when appropriate.
  • Log and Assign Noise Complaints. For complaints not sent though the noise portal, log the complaint into the system and assign it to the appropriate line of business or staff office to investigate and provide input into the response.
  • Provide Complaint Reports. Working with the regional management staff, provide biweekly reports on the status of noise complaints in the region. Reports must also include information regarding topic areas the noise complaint covers, which can lead to additional website or Chatbot content development. This may also include gathering complaint information to support external meetings regarding noise. This can also be accomplished through the use of a dashboard that is available on-demand for the regional staff.
  • Meeting Support. Support noise complaint initiative (NCI) workgroup meetings, regional noise complaint/inquiry staff meetings and other noise/community engagement meetings as requested. This task includes development of topics for discussion focused on the NCI, providing updates and information on any issues/concerns regarding the NCI process or handling of specific inquiries/complaints. This can also include gathering information on types and numbers of noise complaints to support external meetings.
  • Process Improvement. Work with other regional support to identify ways to improve processes and response times to continue to enhance the NCI noise portal and FAA’s community engagement activities.

The successful candidate will have:
