Your contribution
The Procurement Manager is the organisation’s expert on procurement. They will work together with other business units and our programs across the region to build strong relationships, support compliance and build a high-performance culture.
- Procurement systems development – developing and building tools and templates to strengthen the organisation’s procurement function.
- Procurement strategy and plan development – working with program teams to develop place-based procurement plans and devise solutions for complex procurement problems.
- Supply chain management – supporting the business to efficiently source prospective suppliers and ensure our changing procurement needs are met by capable and diverse suppliers.
- Contract development and monitoring – advising on appropriate contracting modalities, identifying contracting issues in procurement processes and updating or developing contract templates to address business needs.
Who we are looking for
- Proven experience and expertise in government procurements and contract lifecycles.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical aspects of contract negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to work with the private/public sector stakeholders.
- Systems thinker able to understand the big picture to develop policies and procedures.
- Proven ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team in a complex
- Excellent interpersonal skills and
- Creativity and a continuous improvement mindset.
