Procurement Manager
Qualifications and Experience:
- Professional certifications in procurement (e.g., CIPS) are highly desirable
- Several years of experience in procurement, particularly in a managerial role focusing on category management.
- Proven track record of delivering cost benefits, driving sustainability initiatives, and improving procure-to-pay processes in a complex, multi-category environment.
- Experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, sustainability initiatives, and risk management.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term procurement strategies that align with business goals, including sustainability objectives.
- Sustainability Focus: Strong understanding of sustainability principles and the ability to integrate these into procurement decisions.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a focus on creating win-win situations with suppliers.
- Procure-to-Pay Expertise: Proficiency in managing the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis, cost modelling, and market research to inform decision-making.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Technology Savvy: Familiarity with procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

This role may require occasional travel to meet with suppliers, stakeholders or attend industry events. The position is a mix of office-based and hybrid working arrangements depending on the company’s policy.
