Procurement and Operations Specialist, Sri Lanka TAG
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, supply chain management, or a related field required.
- Minimum three years of experience in procurement, contracts management, or a related field, preferably with experience in donor-funded projects, required.
- Experience working with USAID or other international development organizations preferred.
- Experience providing expertise in overseeing procurements and service contracts in compliance with donor regulations.
- Knowledge of USAID regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with vendors, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ability to analyze procurement needs, evaluate vendor proposals, to inform decision-making and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including local vendors and partners.
- Fluency in English and one national language, such as Sinhala or Tamil, required. Proficiency in a second national language, such as Sinhala or Tamil, desired.
