Principal Toxicologist - Los Angeles Metro
Qualifications:
- MS degree in toxicology, pharmacology, or applicable health science area of practice required.
- Applicable professional registration or certifications, i.e. DABT, are preferred.
- The successful candidate will be a highly motivated seller/doer with the understanding of group management with the following qualifications:
- Currently manages personnel and projects and has a proven record of building and diversifying business with commercial customers, while managing the delivery of quality products, growth, and financial results;
- Has an established client base and strong industry connections with a record of developing innovative solutions for clients;
- Has had significant experience managing staff and business operations at some level; and
- Has strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with demonstrated ability developing and delivering effective presentations to customers and management.
- Eight plus years’ experience in providing health science and/or industrial hygiene consulting services with at least five years of experience in program management, business development, and strategic planning focused on the commercial and private market sector.
- Proven expertise and a successful track record winning and executing work for commercial clients. The candidate needs to demonstrate ability to identify new opportunities, develop strategies to win targeted pursuits, and penetrate key clients.
- Must have a working understanding of FDA, FIFRA, RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, CAA, CWA, OSHA and other applicable state and federal regulations.
- Must have specific and in-depth knowledge of and experience working with multi-media exposure scenarios and toxicological principles on environmental, occupational, and consumer product projects as they apply to various market segments. Experience in conducting exposure assessments and human health and ecological risk assessments is preferred.
- Experience working closely with senior management and operations to develop pursuit strategies for perspective projects.
