Essential Leadership Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead and set the tone for commercial and governmental accounts in relation to IHS services offered by Tetra Tech.  Establish clear objectives, milestones, and timelines for individual accounts managed personally and in concert with others.  Closely monitor industry activities and lead the identification and prioritization of specific pursuits, areas where IHS services can be leveraged with existing clients, and secure projects.

Engage and retain relationships with top commercial and governmental clients utilizing IHS service solutions.  Establish yourself as an account manager for strategic clients.  Account management responsibilities include maintaining strong client relationships, preparing cost and technical proposals, ensuring effective and efficient completion of projects on time and within budget, and delivering high quality work products. 

Collaborate with Tetra Tech operations worldwide and develop and implement growth strategies to increase profitability for a broad range of integrated services related to the industrial hygiene, health and safety, and sustainability initiative.

Requirements & Preferred Experience:

Dynamic, self-starter with 20+ years’ experience in industrial hygiene, engineering, and environmental consulting services with at least 10 years of experience in program management, business development, and strategic planning focused on the commercial and private market sector.

Proven expertise and a successful track record in the commercial and private market industry with the ability to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to win targeted pursuits.

Must have a working understanding of RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, CAA, OSHA, MSHA and other applicable state and federal regulations.

Specific and in-depth knowledge of industrial hygiene principles regarding EHS compliance, impacts from chemical releases, human health and ecological considerations and risk evaluations, and regulatory permitting is required. 

Must have a solid understanding of the commercial and private sector including market potential, competition, clients, forecasting, and capture strategy.

Strong network of clients and long-standing, established relationships within the commercial and private market sector.

Experience working closely with senior management and operations to develop pursuit strategies for perspective projects.

Skilled in oral and written communication with demonstrated ability developing and delivering effective presentations to customers and management.
