The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, Office of Assistance Coordination (NEA/AC) is responsible for coordinating U.S. foreign assistance throughout the entire Middle East, totaling over $8 Billion annually. Part of this coordination effort includes the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of U.S.-funded programs. Tetra Tech is seeking a Principal Expert/Trainer to provide training on M&E and other concepts to audiences consisting of both foreign nationals & U.S. Government employees. Trainings are normally held at sites outside of the United States. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage logistical and administrative details associated with the training activity from a base in the United States.
  • Manage, coordinate and resolve problems associated with training conference development, planning and participation.
  • Position will require overseas travel.

Compensation will include full benefits and either Metro Benefits or a parking pass for NEA/AC.

Requirements
  • Top Secret Clearance
  • 10 years of work experience in Monitoring and Evaluation and at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in training curriculum development and delivery, especially for international and/or diverse audiences.
  • Master's Degree in Public Health, Demography, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Arabic and French language ability at the professional working level (3/3)
