Principal Engineer - Lakewood, CO
Qualifications:
- BS degree in engineering is required.
- 20+ years’ experience in environmental consulting services with at least 10 years of experience in a program management or leadership position.
- Professional Engineer (PE) in one or more states is required.
- Dynamic, self-starter with successful experience with project and program management, business development resulting in new clients and/or new work, and strategic business planning focused on environmental remediation services for commercial clients.
- Proven technical expertise and a successful track record in providing site assessment and remediation services with the ability to attract new business and grow key accounts.
- Strong network of clients with established relationships within the private/commercial market sector.
- Must have a solid understanding of the commercial environmental market sector including market potential, competition, clients, forecasting, and capture strategy.
- Strong track record in identifying market trends and opportunities to develop pursuit strategies for specific projects.
- Demonstrated experience in managing project and group finances with strong profitability.
- A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
Target salary range: $185,000 to $205,000. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
