Principal/Associate Hydrogeologist
About You
As a minimum you will hold a master’s degree in geology, engineering geology, hydrogeology, geothermal energy or relevant discipline. Whilst not essential, it would be desirable for you to have a post graduate qualification such as a Doctorate degree (PhD). You should also be working towards Chartership with a relevant body, such as The Geological Society. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Ability to deliver to deadlines
- The ability to work collaboratively with clients and teams to deliver results
- Comfortable working on an individual basis
- Good practical knowledge of Microsoft Software, including Excel, Project and Word
- Professional and ethical in everything that you do
- Hold a UK Driving licence
- Have experience of exploratory drilling / geothermal or hydrogeological investigations and the skills and knowledge to interpret geological, hydrogeological and thermal investigation data.
- Be able to prepare desktop study reports incorporating a wide range of data sub-surface data and be able to contribute to interpretative reports.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be fully IT literate as you will be required to write clear, concise and technically robust reports.
- Have a good understanding of health, safety and environmental management.
- Be a team player with good social, interpersonal and communication skills.
