Qualifications:

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in an international, security, or management related area required.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive management work experience supporting donor-funded programming including volatile, conflict-affected, and/or fragile contexts required.
  • Experience supervising multiple staff required.
  • Experience working with national security-related organizations, such as the DoD and associated military commands and offices, DoS, USAID essential, and with other clients including multi-laterals, other USG agencies highly desired.
  • Experience understanding financial metrics and projecting/meeting financial goals is highly desirable.
  • Experience providing support to the design and implementation of cutting-edge approaches in primary subject matter to include some of Countering Malign Influence, citizen security, data analytics, and context monitoring is preferred.
  • Experience in the military as a soldier or civilian is highly desirable.
  • Experience working on staff augmentation contracts is essential.
  • Experience supporting or leading technical writing for project bids within key NSMS technical areas such as M&E in a national security context, conflict-affected information management.
  • Experience leading donor funded projects.
  • Understanding of and experience with national security issues and USG structure and programming to deal with them is essential.
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment of technical staff, project management and business development teams.
  • Ability to travel when required.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and result-oriented skills.
  • Strong writing and speaking communication ability in English required. Second language proficiency preferred.

Pay Transparency Statement:

We are committed to taking a thoughtful, compliant, and equitable approach to employment compensation. We commit to providing a holistic comprehensive salary analysis, including reviews of individual skill sets and compensable factors related to qualifications, business needs, internal compensation data, and industry and labor market surveys. The anticipated pay range for this position is $180,000 to $195,000 USD.
