Power System Expert - Ukraine/ Remote
Essential KSA's required (experience, skills, education, certification, etc.):
- University degree in electrical engineering or related field acceptable to Tetra Tech.
- At least 5-year experience in the electricity sector. Understanding of the specifics of Ukrainian power system operation.
- Good knowledge of power system operation and equipment on TSO and DSO grids
- Experience in working with high level stakeholders including senior government counterparts.
- Project management skills, including ability to develop and manage relationships with a diverse set of officials and stakeholders.
- Experience in similar USAID projects on power system development and resource adequacy assessment is desired. Experience with EU and Eastern European countries a plus.
- Experience in power system modeling software DigSILENT PF, Antares, PLEXOS) will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in English (written, read, spoken, and heard) and Ukrainian or Russian.
- Proficient in office computer applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
