Cosentini Associates (www.cosentini.com), a Tetra Tech company, invites you to consider an exciting opportunity at our Miami office. We are seeking a motivated Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer (mid-level) to join our renowned design team to design.
About this opportunity:
As a Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer at Cosentini, you will have the opportunity to apply your design and expertise on exciting and challenging projects. You will be working with some of the top engineers in the field, gaining additional expertise and building your reputation and career.
Your role includes:
• Prepare deliverables and products including calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Design plumbing and fire protection systems including calculations of water, gas, sanitary/sewer and storm loads while adhering to the firm’s QA/QC process.
• Incorporating design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software

What kind of candidate are we looking for?
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated engineer with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 5 to 10 years of plumbing and fire protection design experience in commercial, institutional, and healthcare facilities.
Qualifications/Skills include:
• Proficient with the use of AutoCAD; Revit knowledge preferred
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment
• Strong technical background
