PLS Tower Modeler
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited institute program in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical Technology or Technician with OACETT Certification
- Analyze the loads on PLS-Tower models from the wire system in PLS-CADD, analyze tower usage efficiencies and fix potential overstress issues.
- Proficient in modeling steel lattice towers both self-support and guyed towers.
- Proficient in working with implementing PLS-Tower models in PLS-CADD and run its various modules.
- 5+ years of relevant design/drafting experience in consulting and/or Energy environment
- Must be proficient in PLS-CADD and PLS-Tower
- Knowledge and working experience related to Canadian Safety Code
- Computer knowledge in MS Office Suite
- Ability to work in team environment
- Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Experience in an engineering consulting firm is considered an asset.
