QUALIFICATIONS:
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Minimum 8 years of experience
- Demonstrated experience with pipeline design
- Experience using CAD, including 3D applications
- Demonstrated experience preparing pipeline alignment sheets for natural gas clients, or preparing alignment sheets for other linear projects
- Working knowledge of pipeline safety regulations and standards
- Previous experience with piping design and material requirements for industrial work.
- Highly experiences with DLS, NTS and UTM
- Strong understanding of pipeline construction techniques and equipment
- Field experience is an asset
SOFTWARE AND SYSTEMS:
- AutoCAD
- Civil 3D
- CADWorx
- Navisworks
- Blue Sky
EDUCATION:
- Diploma in piping design or equivalent engineering technology program
- Registered with ASET. A CET designation is preferred
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Ranges from occasional (one day trips) to more frequent (two to three days trips)
- Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screen
- Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
