Operations Lead
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in logistics, construction, or disaster recovery operations.
· Experience specific to Non-Congregate Sheltering programs is preferred.
· Knowledge of travel trailer operations and sheltering programs is required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
· Familiarity with fleet management systems and project management scheduling practices for optimal resource allocation.
· Comfortable navigating and utilizing various technology systems; tech-savviness is essential in this technology-heavy environment.
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
· Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of communications in a fast-paced environment.
· A balanced approach of professionalism, tenacity, and empathy, maintaining compassion for disaster survivors while driving efficient and timely operations.
· Frequent travel throughout the affected area is required.
· Must be able to work outdoors, extended hours, and weekends as part of an emergency sheltering operation.
· A valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance are required.
