The successful candidate will have:
- Experience at the GS-13 or SV-I equivalent with at least 2 years of specialized experience with Bachelor’s Degree, or at least 5 years of experience with an Associate’s Degree, working as an Obstruction Evaluation Specialist or Obstruction Evaluation Technician.
- Successfully completed FAA Basic Obstruction Evaluation Course.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR), Part 77 notice criteria for construction or alteration of certain structures in the National Airspace System (NAS) as it relates to the function of the Obstruction Evaluation Groups responsibilities for processing 14 CFR Part 77 applications.
- Practical experience in the application of Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR), Part 77 notice criteria for construction or alteration of certain structures in the National Airspace System (NAS).
- Practical experience in the use of the iOEAAA system as it relates to the function of the Obstruction Evaluation Groups responsibilities for processing applications under 14 CFR Part 77.
