The position:

NDY’s Brisbane Office is looking for an energetic Administration Assistant / Project Administrator to join our Brisbane team!  This position will support our team by providing essential administrative assistance and assisting with coordinating project-related activities.

We anticipate that this role will initially involve a requirement to work full-time in office, with flexibility to be discussed following a 3-month settling in period.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform general office administration tasks including managing office supplies, placing orders, and ensuring proper upkeep of the office facilities
  • Assist with creating and formatting of project documentation, including reports and meeting minutes
  • Engage and follow up with internal team members to ensure timely issuance of deliverables
  • Provide support for meetings and events
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support project goals

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years applicable work experience: Candidates should have at least two years of experience in project administration or a similar administrative position where they have supported multiple stakeholders. Experience within the construction or engineering industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook is essential, while skills in Excel and PowerPoint are considered advantageous.
  • Strong self-motivation and a pro-active approach: The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to work independently and take initiative in their tasks, contributing positively without needing constant supervision.
  • Organisation and time management skills: Effective candidates must be able to manage their time wisely, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and ensuring efficient project flow.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: The role requires the ability to communicate well, collaborate with team members, and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    Ability to work in a team environment: A cooperative attitude and readiness to contribute to team efforts are vital, as collaborative work is essential to project success.
