NDY Fire Protection Engineer, Vancouver
Who and What We’re Looking For
- Legally entitled to live and work in Canada.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with a demonstrated minimum of 4 years of experience in fire protection design, enabling them to serve as the project's Engineer of Record.
- Proficiency in Revit is highly desirable.
- Proven experience across the full project lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of relevant fire protection codes and standards (NFPA, building codes, etc.).
- Familiarity with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculation tools.
- Ability to verify design work completed by others and provide mentoring, coaching, and training to less experienced engineers.
- Experience with field review of mechanical and plumbing installations with the ability to defect work and provide quality inspections on behalf of NDY or the client.
- Strong technical background that you want to continue to build on with experience across different market sectors including residential, office, education and the like.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information of a complex nature both verbally and in writing with all stakeholders across multiple disciplines including colleagues and clients.
