NDY Electrical Team Lead, Perth
The Position
We are looking for an experienced Team Lead – Electrical to join our WA team, reporting to the Office Director. This is a key leadership role, responsible for leading our electrical design team and supporting the successful delivery of high-quality building services projects.
As a people-focused leader with strong technical capability, you will guide project delivery, support team development, and help shape the future of the electrical discipline within our Perth office. You’ll be part of a senior, highly technical team working across a broad range of large-scale and complex projects, with a strong emphasis on design excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

Who we’re looking for.
- Proven experience leading electrical engineering teams, with strong capability in managing resources, project delivery, and financial performance.
- Strong technical background in electrical engineering within the building services sector, with the ability to provide guidance, review design outputs, and support technical decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience managing and coordinating multi-discipline projects as a project leader or team lead.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing engineers and project coordinators to support team growth and performance.
- A collaborative leader who can balance technical delivery, people leadership, and client engagement.
- Exposure to HV systems and/or ICT and Security services is advantageous, but not essential.
Interest in applying emerging technologies and innovative solutions to an expanding workload across building services
Your background
- Significant professional experience in electrical engineering, ideally across the full project lifecycle.
- Experience within the building services sector, with strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in project delivery, team coordination, and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of relevant standards and building codes in Western Australia.
- CPEng or Professional Engineer Registration highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of project stages and delivery methods, including full design and design & construct.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and make decisions that support project and team objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly across a range of stakeholders.
