Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Specialist - Ghana
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in statistics, economics, engineering, management, or any other relevant field
- At least 5 years of experience in the implementation of M&E frameworks for donor funding projects
- Demonstrated track record in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (including experience with log frames/results-based frameworks, collecting & reviewing monitoring information, coding qualitative data, and conducting evaluation research),
- Experience in data collection, analysis and using tools such as MS Excel and statistical packages.
- Ability to convey results to non-technical stakeholders, and to generate interest in the use of MEL results and help staff to make programmatic improvements desired.
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative methodologies, research, management information systems, reporting, data quality assessments, and data analysis and visualization
- Experience in conducting MEL activities for USAID funded contracts, across multiple countries (preferred).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Valued Qualifications:
- Fluency in French
- Knowledge of the energy sector
