Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Manager, West Bank and Gaza Responding to Local Priorities
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as international development, political science, sociology, statistics/social research, or similar area required.
- Minimum five years of experience required in monitoring and evaluation, research, and/or development program assessments, including experience in designing and implementing M&E systems and developing indicators for international development projects.
- Minimum 10 years of professional relevant work experience required, predominantly in international development and/or related social science research or program assessment work.
- Experience working on USAID-funded projects preferred.
- Experience in performance measurement, evaluation and research, learning, and knowledge sharing, to include topics such as research/assessment design, indicator design, target setting, database management, facilitating learning events, and related skills and experiences.
- Experience collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data using methods that are suitable for changing, complex, and conflict-affected environments.
- Experience managing MEL and/or research teams and training others in such skills, including Palestinian partners.
- Knowledge of data representation, data analysis, and other relevant software packages and tools is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required.
- Fluency in Arabic and professional proficiency in English required.
