Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, Solar Energy Activity
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in statistics, economics, development studies, renewable energy, or a related field is required.
- Minimum five years of relevant work experience in conducting different evaluation areas is required.
- Experience in designing and analyzing surveys, developing methodology, and qualitative and quantitative tool/instrument development required.
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and interpretation using quantitative and qualitative methods required.
- Experience conducting similar evaluation or studies in Djibouti is preferred.
- Experience in providing training preferred.
- Advanced skills in data analysis methods and the use of core statistical analysis software such as SPSS and/or Stata, especially as applied to survey research data.
- Knowledge and experience in solar energy and sustainable development.
- Familiarity with USAID Evaluation Standards and requirements.
- Strong written and oral communication, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work required.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, required. Proficiency in Fren or language skill in local languages is preferred.
