MIU Support Project Manager - Slovakia
Essential KSAs Required (experience, skill, education, certification, etc.):
- Advanced degree in business administration, law, engineering, economics, finance policy, or a related field from a reputable institution of higher education acceptable to Tetra Tech.
- At least 15 years of experience on policy and investment issues related to energy.
- Prior experience in a leadership or senior management position in international development projects (bilateral or multilateral).
- Demonstrated experience in project management and technical assistance, preferably in projects of similar scope, size, and complexity as the ESP.
- Experience in administration and coordination of complex projects in cooperation with recipient governments (developing or transition economies), international donors and local organizations.
- Experience in development of new financial and investment mechanisms, infrastructure projects based on best international practice.
- Proven strategic planning, analytical, business reporting, and financial analysis skills.
- Proven track record of supervising, leading, managing, and motivating large teams from diverse backgrounds and skillsets.
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and listening skills to interact effectively, motivate and collaborate with others from diverse cultural backgrounds to achieve project goals.
- Professional command of English (reading, writing and presentation skills) and ability to communicate in English complex information and deliver verbal and written messages effectively.
- Professional command of Ukrainian or Russian (reading, writing and presentation skills) and ability to communicate in Ukrainian or Russian complex information and deliver verbal and written messages effectively.
- Must be available to relocate to Bratislava, Slovakia, and travel regionally.
Line management responsibility:
- 10+ staff
Physical demands & work environment:
- Field office setting with regional and international travel expected.
