QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering
- P.Eng registered, or eligible to be registered, in AB or BC
- 8+ years of experience in the following industries: Industrial Gases, Chemical Processing, Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Systems, Carbon Capture and Sequestering. Experience must include one or more of the following:
- Process or Mechanical Engineering design of Hydrogen projects: experience with specifying equipment, sizing of equipment, hydraulic calculations, piping systems, including piping material selection, purchasing of piping components for hydrogen service, hydrogen storage, hydrogen production systems, hydrogen compression, hydrogen transportation pipelines, hydrogen and natural gas blending/transportation/compression/separation.
- Process or Mechanical Engineering design of CCS projects: experience with specifying equipment, sizing of equipment, hydraulic calculations, piping systems, including piping material selection, purchasing of piping components for CO2 service, CO2 compression, CO2 transportation pipelines, CO2 injection.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOW EXPERIENCE:
- Oil and gas industry codes, standards and regulatory requirements for pipelines or processing facilities.
- Using hydrogen as a fuel source (fuel cell design)
- Business development for engineering consulting
- Specification / Procedure development
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Travel within Western Canada periodically to client sites may be required
- Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screen
- Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
