Logistics Specialist - Erbil, Iraq
Qualifications: Desired skills in the ideal candidate include but are not limited to:
• Two years’ experience in administrative, logistical, or procurement support or related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Years of military service or another contractor-related role also considered in lieu of a degree.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, networking.
• Cross-cultural communication skills.
• Excellent and minute attention to detail is mandatory.
• You need to enjoy taking ownership of complex requests and seeing them through.
• Ability to problem solve and seek novel solutions, adaptive thinking.
• Strong analytical skills related to qualitative and quantitative data.
• Can work independently and communicate effectively.
• Efficiently prepare official letters and documents.
• Ability to successfully support complex and time-sensitive projects, manage time and data requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Proficient using MS Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint; Experience with Quickbooks is a plus.
• Fluency in Arabic or Kurdish is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Ability to think ahead and solve potential problems before they arise.
Work Environment/Schedule:
• Primary work environment will consist of in-office work in Erbil, Iraq.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends.
• Work schedule is 48 hours per week with Fridays off; work rotation will be 90 days on, 21 days off, as operationally viable. 2 roundtrip airfare tickets are included per year.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
Salary Range: $21.00 - $25.00/hour
Eligible for uplifts in accordance with the U.S. Department of State.
A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
