Tetra Tech EMC is seeking a Logistics Analyst for a full-time position at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.  The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of Life Cycle Logistics and be able to develop a Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) for the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) program.  In addition this candidate will provide technical recommendations for modifications, plans, implementation strategies, identifying and executing re-certification, maintenance and storage needs or improvements and identify requirements and associated products for the effective application of logistics to ensure Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) mission success and sustainment throughout the acquisition life cycle. This includes supporting logistics management Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements in accordance with (IAW) applicable MDA and Department of Defense (DOD) guidelines.  This position supports geographically dispersed locations.


We are seeking a logistician who has experience supporting major acquisition programs in the DoD. Ability to provide analytical and project management support in preparation of executive briefing material, programmatic plans and budgets. Develops/ensures requirements and implementation strategies comply with logistics directives and supportability parameters. Performs and coordinates detailed analysis to ensure integration support considerations into the planning and/or design process.

This individual  should be able to develop enterprise and program (element-specific) policies, plans, processes, procedures; implement the guidance; and the interpretation of internal and external agency regulations, policies, directives, and other related documents. 


Other Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide recommendations on the planning, technical approach, execution and results of logistics supportability Maintenance Built-in Test (M-BIT) and impacts to logistics supportability policies, procedures and plans.
  • Provide recommendations on life cycle supportability impacts to test plans to include the Test & Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and Integrated Master Test Plan (IMTP).
  • Analyze, review and provide recommendations on logistics management databases such as prime weapons system contractor logistics management information database (LMID), government furnished equipment (GFE) database, Item Unique Identification (IUID) Registry, Computer Inventory Maintenance Management System (CIMMS) and Enhanced Automated Graphical Logistics Environment (EAGLE) System.
  • Review, assess and provide recommendations on program requirement documents such as Cost and the Analysis Requirement Document (CARD) for impacts to maintenance planning, supply support, facility management and support equipment.
  • Provide recommendation on cost effective process improvements.
  • Review, analyze and make recommendations on weapon system training curriculum, materials, scripts, and scenarios.
  • Review, analyze and provide recommendations on BMDS program element software build releases.  Identify and document potential issues and provide recommendations in an issue resolution plan to address life cycle logistics and readiness impacts.
  • Assist in reporting training requirements, supporting test events, reviewing and analyzing Depot Maintenance studies, and reviewing test report and failure data.
  • Participate in joint Military Services-force development, integration, and synchronization activities for the introduction of new capabilities and for life cycle support of the BMDS program elements.
  • Develop weapon system training status presentations.
  • Develop analysis with data and information for the CARD that supports logistics estimates. 

Must possess a security clearance (Secret Level).

AA/AS plus a minimum of 3 years of logisitcs experience.  The AA/AS degree may be substituted with a total of 5 years logistics experience, or equivalent combination of education, experience and training. 
Applicant should be proficient in Microsoft Office: (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, i.e., the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form; with the ability to write reports.
