Liner Installation Supervisor - Across U.S.
Required Abilities:
·
Understand environmental and health & safety
regulations and perform work in a competent manner
·
Assist with the procurement of materials,
equipment, and supplies for projects
·
Perform system construction activities in a safely
and proper manner
·
Perform maintenance on system components to ensure
or restore proper operation and compliance
·
Must have supervisory experience on civil projects
(or equivalent accredited degree/s)
·
Work with and around heavy construction equipment
and excavations on landfills, industrial sites, power plants, gold mines, and
coal ash sites.
·
Oversee and maintain clean, and organized equipment
and supplies
·
Required to complete project related paperwork
neatly, timely, and accurately
·
Complete the USEPA HAZWOPR, 40-hour,
environmental health and safety class, and annual 8-hour refresher classes
·
Travel for extended periods, as necessary. Anticipated that a working
construction supervisor will travel 100% of the time 7-9 months out of the
year. Then have various breaks throughout the winter months.
·
Walk long distances, up and down steeply sloped landfills and
outdoor terrain
·
Work in variable work conditions including extreme (hot and cold)
weather conditions safely
·
Lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a non-consistent basis
·
Pass a company paid, baseline health physical and drug screening,
if required
·
Ability to obtain, and keep in good standing, a valid driver’s
license
·
Must be available to work overtime,
nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
·
Provide an aggressive and pro-active
approach to client needs
Skills and Technical Aptitude:
·
Minimum High School Diploma with at
least 3 years of construction working experience and at least two years
supervising.
·
Minimum 1 years heavy equipment
operation or forklift operation
·
Recent
graduate with a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management would also
be a good fit for this opportunity
·
Liner experience a plus, current MSHSA
Certification (desired)
·
Ability to be familiar with landfill
and various other project sites including use of surveying equipment and
blueprints
As a working Supervisor will have
access to a Company provided laptop, cellphone, and company truck w/ daily
per-diem. This role will oversee the project, revised drawings, change orders
and proper scope of the job –communicating with the project manager.
