Legal Expert - Ukraine
Qualifications
- Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited law school with a minimum of a LLM degree.
- Be certified to practice law in the Ukraine.
- Have a minimum of ten years specialized experience in analyzing and drafting energy policy, primary and secondary legislation for the energy sector.
- Experience with distributed generation, cogeneration, and renewable energy is desired.
- Have a minimum of eight years specialized experience in project finance.
- Experience working with donor agencies or international financial institutions is highly desirable.
- Specialized knowledge of and ability to independently analyze whether the design, construction and operating contracts for energy projects are bankable at a high level.
- Specialized knowledge of and ability to draft, structure and/or negotiate key financing and credit agreements and advise teams structuring bankable documents for energy projects.
- Demonstrated ability to find solutions to financial/transaction issues.
- Excellent working knowledge of written and spoken Ukrainian and English.
