Landfill Gas Technician

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 0 – 2 years of experience
• Previous experience working in the solid waste industry and landfills a plus
• Strong work ethic, professional demeanor and trustworthiness
• Ability to work under corporate / OSHA safe work practices, follow compliance guidelines and government regulations
• Certificates, licenses, registrations such as pipe fusion certification or HAZWOPER certification helpful
• Basic electrical/mechanical aptitude 
• Good analytical skills and ability to problem solve effectively
• Must be available 24/7 for emergency call outs, including weekends
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must pass a baseline physical and drug screen

This position requires individuals to work outdoors up to 95% of the time.  The individual will be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, noise, odors and extreme weather elements of Arizona.  The employee frequently lifts and or moves up to 50 pounds. Must be able to walk up/down steep slopes; standing, driving, sitting. Required to wear personal protective equipment for some tasks.
