Land Survey Intern
Qualifications
- Third or fourth-year student enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Civil Engineering or Geomatics Engineering.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and industry standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) programs.
Physical Requirements
- This position may require protracted or irregular hours depending on the season.
- Traverse over rough terrain, and constantly position self to operate miscellaneous survey equipment.
- Occasionally ascend/descend ladders into trenches or onto roofs when inspecting construction and land development sites.
- May be subject to exposure to extreme outdoor weather conditions, hazardous materials and chemicals, heavy construction equipment, confined spaces, heights, and air and waterborne pathogens.
- May handle and move items up to 50 lbs for various needs.
- This position could require periodic travel.
Salary Range: $22 - $25 an hour, depending on experience.
