Position Summary:
The Knowledge Management Lead will provide technical leadership for Knowledge Management and Organizational Learning (KMOL) Services under the Jordan MELA work order. This position will lead the design, development, and implementation of knowledge management systems, tools, and processes that strengthen organizational learning, information sharing, and evidence use across the Jordan MELA portfolio. The Knowledge Management Lead will also oversee staff responsible for data management, analysis, and visualization, ensuring that data are organized, analyzed, and presented in ways that are accessible, timely, and useful for decision-making. This is a full-time, Amman-based role with a period of performance from October 2026 - September 2027.
Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and implement processes to capture lessons learned, best practices, and evidence products across the Jordan portfolio.
• Coordinate with technical staff to ensure that data visualization products, dashboards, maps, and infographics are clear, useful, and aligned with user needs.
• Support the development of learning agendas, knowledge-sharing products, and decision-support materials.
• Facilitate or support knowledge-sharing sessions, internal learning events, and dissemination activities.
• Establish feedback mechanisms and performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness and use of KMOL systems.
• Work closely with the Regional Director and other technical leads to ensure integration between knowledge management, monitoring, evaluation, learning, and capacity strengthening activities.
• Ensure strong version control, documentation, and quality assurance across KMOL products and platforms.
• Support the development of training materials and user support resources for knowledge management systems and tools.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, information sharing, and evidence use within the Jordan MELA team and among stakeholders.
• Lead the design and implementation of KMOL services.
• Oversee staff responsible for data management, analysis, and visualization, ensuring quality, coordination, and timely delivery of outputs.
• Conduct knowledge audits to assess existing workflows, systems, tools, and knowledge flows.
• Develop and maintain KMOL architecture, including governance arrangements, content standards, protocols, and processes.
• Design knowledge capture, storage, retrieval, and dissemination systems that support institutional memory and learning.
• Support the creation and maintenance of knowledge repositories, libraries, databases, and other knowledge-sharing platforms.
Required Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in knowledge management, information science, communications, international development, public policy, social sciences, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in knowledge management, organizational learning, data visualization, information systems, research management, or related MEL work.
• Demonstrated experience designing and managing knowledge management systems, learning agendas, or institutional learning processes.
• Experience overseeing data management, analysis, visualization, dashboards, or related information products.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex information and translate it into practical, user-friendly products.
• Experience facilitating collaboration across technical teams and diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with MEL systems, evidence use, and donor-funded programming strongly preferred.
• Experience working in Jordan and/or the MENA region strongly preferred.
• Strong project management, writing, and communication skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic required.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and using a computer.
Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
• This position has no work or environmental factors outside of a standard office environment.
Additional Information
• This is a full-time position. The expected working day is from Sunday to Thursday, 40 hours per week.
• This position is required to be in the office Sunday – Thursday. This arrangement is subject to review and may change at the company’s discretion.
