 Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, international relations, engineering, library science, marketing, communications or related field. 
  • At least three years of relevant work experience in writing and editing technical materials and producing communication tools. 
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, including ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment, and plan and prioritize activities with precision and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to format and deliver client-ready proposals and presentations without support from others. 
  • Fluency in English and demonstrated skills in technical writing and editing.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels. 
  • Experience writing content on energy and climate change sector topics within the context of international development. 
  • Experience working on proposals or projects funded by international donor agencies and the US government. 
  • Three years’ experience working in an information, records, or document management unit. 
  • Experience in using cloud content collaboration software solutions. 
  • Master’s degree in English, international relations, engineering, or related field is a plus. 
  • Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish, French, or Arabic. 

If substantial experience is demonstrated, a more senior position can be considered.
