Junior Instrumentation/Controls Technologists & EITs
- 0-3 years experience. New Grads welcome to apply.
- Strong interpersonal skills required for internal team interfaces and client liaison
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to adapt to new projects and quickly understand the defined scope
- Fluency in one or more control system languages will be considered an asset
- Experience with computer design tools – CAD, SPI Intools, 3D modelling
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with industrial network design and implementation including Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Modbus and Fiberoptic communications
- Hardware / software troubleshooting skills
- PLC/HMI/DCS programming experience using industry standard software packages considered an asset
- SCADA system design and programming considered an asset
- Technologists: Diploma of Technology in Automation and Instrumentation (NAIT/SAIT or equivalent). Registered or able to register with ASET or an equivalent governing body
- EITs: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Registered or able to register as an EIT with APEGA or an equivalent governing body
- Travel within Western Canada periodically to client sites may be required
- Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screen
- Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
