A minimum of 2 years of relevant IT technical support experience is preferred.  The ideal candidate will also have / be:

•    Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance is required; current clearance is preferred.
•    US Citizenship is required.
•    Experience in Windows Operating Systems (OS), Microsoft Office, networking principles, and Active Directory. 
•    Preferred experience with Department of Defense systems and Security Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
•    Familiar with LAN/WAN systems and the Process Data Acquisition and Recording systems.  
•    Experience in workstation image creation and image management, workstation roll-out and re-build, configuration, and maintenance of computer equipment, workstation and printer troubleshooting and repair, telecommunications and teleconferencing equipment. 
•    Strong interpersonal and IT troubleshooting skills.  
•    High levels of written and oral communication skills are required to assist users with technology-related issues.  
•    Must be able to speak the English language fluently.
•    Ability to read, research, analyze and interpret general inquiries from IT users to resolve IT-related issues.
•    Ability to evaluate and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  
•    Able to interpret and follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
•    Able to work and collaborate with employees at all levels and disciplines.

In addition:
•    The candidate should possess a valid driver's license and be able to take training to operate a Gator Utility Vehicle.  Passing a motor vehicle record background check and maintaining a valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.


Degree / Certifications
•    Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
•    COMPTIA A+ and Windows Desktop Administrator at the time of hire or able to get these certifications within 6 months of hire is required. 
•    Past security clearance is preferred.

Work Environment
•    The work environment of this position is that of a typical IT help desk position. 
•    You will be required to visit numerous buildings to access clients and equipment
•    Able to access equipment stored in a warehouse.  
•    Able to lift computer equipment and access cables, plugs, etc.is required
•    May be required to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
•    Must be medically able to pass a fit test to wear a respirator.
•    May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.  


The Salary Range for this position is $20.00/hour to $25.00/hour.
