IT and Administrative Assistant, Strengthening Systems and Public Accountability Activity, Kampala, Uganda
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT management, project management, or a related field required, master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of progressively responsible and directly relevant experience.
- Knowledge of information management processes including customer support.
- Familiarity with procurement procedures and database use and management preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform under deadline pressure and an ability to focus on details.
- Experience working with donor agencies (USAID, USDA, World Bank, etc.) or development organizations a plus.
- Proven ability working with a wide range of colleagues including local project staff, international staff, consultants, and government officials, etc.
- Experience organizing public events, roundtables, conferences, and meetings preferred.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt easily to change.
- Travel will only be approved based on security considerations, including COVID-19 contexts.
- Strong written and spoken English is required.
