Invoice Analyst
Overview:
Tetra Tech’s Disaster Recovery Unit is looking for an Invoice Analyst to assist in calculating the cost of damage incurred by our clients during recent disasters. This is a Hybrid role based out of the office in Maitland, FL (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday), but does have an expected short term travel component (may or may not be necessary, 2-3 week maximum).

Responsibilities:
- Analysis of project data using software such as Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
- Quality assurance and quality control of project data
- Generating daily reports in regard to project metrics, work completion, and cost
- Review and understanding of project contracts for the purposes of contactor billings data reconciliation
- Digital file organization of project documents
- Completion of client data inquiries as requested by project management
- Reading comprehension and application of federal policies to project data
Job role will progress and change as experience is acquired. Every employee begins as an entry level analyst to develop and progress understanding of required tasks. These tasks will include data entry and reconciliation, project reporting, and file organization, among others. Individuals who display extreme competency at assigned tasks may eventually be given the opportunity to take on a larger role in the disaster recovery process, including communication with clients and/or FEMA representatives.
Required Qualifications:
- High technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to work 6 days a week, 10 hours a day. 40 hour workweek should be the expectation but availability beyond that may be required during busy season
- Must be available for short-term travel to support on-site client needs and extended deployment (i.e. 2-3 weeks) to address client response and long-term recovery needs to following emergencies and major disasters (if candidate not local to effected area)
- Prior accounting or finance experience preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to understand and apply FEMA program policies and guidance
- Intuition and forward-thinking is a plus while working to accomplish goals
- Must be motivated and results-oriented
- Professional self-presentation and communication
- Extraordinary attention to minute detail
