Intermediate Human Factors Engineer
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering or Science specialising in Human Factors Engineering or related discipline (e.g. systems engineering)
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario or eligible for registration shortly
- 7+ years of related working experience in a design environment within the Canadian Nuclear Industry
- Must be able to work as part of a multi-disciplined team
- Must be able to obtain Canadian Federal security clearance
- Well-developed technical writing and presentation skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated experience of working in a collaborative team environment (e.g., share technical knowledge, mentor junior staff, contribute to healthy productive technical discussions on HF technical elements and methods, etc.)
- Proven ability to be flexible, adaptable and work under tight schedules in a fast paced environment
- Experience in an engineering consulting firm is considered an asset.
- OPG or Bruce Power experience is considered an asset
