Intermediate Aquatic Biologist -Edmonton
Qualifications:
• Registered as Professional Biologist in Alberta.
• Successful applicant must have worked a minimum of 8 years in environmental consulting including aquatic surveys, impact assessment, permitting and regulatory approvals, and post construction monitoring / mitigation planning.
• Proven track record in facilitating regulatory consultation and permit approvals.
• Demonstrated experience with principals of project management
• Proficient technical writer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and the public.
• A strong track record in Health and Safety management on projects.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Alberta environmental regulations.
• Some project opportunities will require travel from your home office location (typically less than one week).
• Tetra Tech will provide a suitable work vehicle for jobs as required.
Additional Information
A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada. (A copy of a valid work permit may be required.)
