Intermediate and Senior Structural Engineers
Qualifications:
- 8 plus years of well-rounded structural design experience in the mining, industrial, and energy sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
- Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with PEO.
- Experience in the design and analysis of structural steel buildings and framing, reinforced concrete, structural supports/foundations, craneway and lifting systems, and other structural systems for a variety of projects.
- A strong understanding of design codes and standards.
- Experience in the preparation of technical specifications, proposal documents, reports, and estimates.
- A working knowledge and understanding of structural analysis software and FEA analysis programs such as S-Frame, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, Inventor, SolidWorks.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks and/or CADWorx would be an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and excellent oral and written skills for both client and internal team interfaces.
- Relevant experience with condition assessments, inspection services, materials handling systems, hoisting and conveyances would be an asset.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables while working in an independent manner or as part of a team.
