Insurance Cost Recovery Documentation Specialist
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ of related work experience with working knowledge of federal grant programs, specifically FEMA or FHWA programs, including related statutes, regulations, policies and processes. Four years’ additional industry experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Valid driver’s license
- Working knowledge of and ability to determine insurance coverage of residential, commercial, and auto policies.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Time management skills.
- Must possess professional proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically strong Excel skills) and the ability to learn project-specific computer systems as needed (specifically SharePoint, Access, and proprietary computer systems).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior FEMA insurance
- Experienced financial analysis
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
- Must have reliable transportation (Must use your own vehicle).

- Variable weather conditions
Additional Information:
- Project based position
- Your driving record must not indicate any of the following during the past 3 years:
a) Punitive suspension, denial, or revocation of driver's license.
b) Conviction for impaired or intoxicated driving (DWAI, DUI, DWI).
c) Conviction of reckless driving, driving with a suspended/denied/revoked
d) License, hit and run or leaving the scene.
e) Conviction of 3 or more moving violations, at fault accidents or a combination.
